Description from the seller
Parker Duofold Junior "Lapis Lazuli" – Made in Canada – Circa 1930
Exquisite Parker Duofold fountain pen, Junior model, manufactured in Toronto, Canada, in the late 1920s or early 1930s. This specimen stands out for its iconic celluloid finish "Lapis Lazuli" (blue marbled with white flecks), one of the colors most sought after by collectors of the 'Big Red' era.
Item details
• Body and Cap: Deep blue celluloid with a very well-preserved veined pattern. It bears the original factory imprint on the body, clearly legible: "Geo. S. Parker Duofold Jr. Fountain Pen - Toronto - Canada".
• Nib: 14K original gold with the inscription "Parker Lucky Curve Pen 2".
• Ornamentation: Gold-plated ball clip with the Parker brand engraved and a double-band on the cap (Double Band).
• Charging system: Button filler (needs to be inspected to ensure its current operational performance, given its age).
• Condition: In good vintage condition. It shows a natural patina on the gilded areas and light signs of wear typical of its age, which guarantees its authenticity and character.
An essential piece for any enthusiast of classic American fountain pens from the "Golden Age".
It is carefully packaged in a generic box with tracking number and insurance.
