Description from the seller

Easy to pick up.

Very beautiful and exceptionally extensive Wiskemann cutlery set, manufactured in Belgium and dating from the interwar period (c. 1920–1940). Wiskemann is internationally known for its high-quality electroplated tableware and enjoys great interest among collectors.

Authenticity & origin
• Original Belgian Wiskemann cutlery
• Period: Art Deco / interwar
• Silver-plated quality, presumably a 20 to 25 micron silver layer

Composition
• 135 original pieces
• Supplemented with 9 pieces (visible in photos): 6 teaspoons and 3 large spoons to complete the set.

Status & presentation
• Cutlery in beautiful, authentic condition with normal signs of use appropriate for its age
• Original wooden cutlery chest present
• Crack in the chest from aging (see photos) — an honest sign of aging that does not affect its historical value

A collectible ensemble with strong aesthetic and historical appeal, suitable for a private collection, stylish interior, or resale through an antique dealer or auction.
