Pair of Art Deco glass vessels – Bohemia / Austria, circa 1900–1920
A matching pair of decorative glass vessels consisting of a tall rectangular vessel and a matching flat one. The pieces are made of opal white glass and decorated with fine enamel decoration and gold staffage. The ornamental motif with a laurel wreath and geometric lines is typical of Bohemian-Austrian glass art of the Art Deco period.
Such vessels were commonly used as decorative, jewelry, or storage tins. The workmanship suggests a manufacture dating from the late 19th to early 20th century.
