Pilot Custom Sterling Silver – Dragon engraving, with body and cap in 925 sterling silver, 18K gold nib, length 137 mm, diameter 12.5 mm, made in Japan in the late 20th century; in good used condition and in working order.
Description from the seller
This Pilot Custom in engraved sterling silver represents a distinguished piece within the Japanese brand's special editions. The body and cap, entirely crafted in Sterling Silver 925, feature a deep and meticulous engraving of the Japanese dragon, preserved with excellent clarity and without loss of detail.
The metal surface shows light micro scratches, typical of contact and normal polishing on silver pieces, but without dents, dings, or deformations, which is particularly valuable in this type of finish.
The original Pilot Custom 18K (750) nib is in very good condition, with no visible signs of misalignment, corrosion, or deformation. The engraving on the nib remains fully legible. The feed retains a uniform color and clean grooves, indicating careful use.
The metal clip maintains its structural integrity, is firm and properly aligned, with the PILOT inscription perfectly visible. The black resin grip area appears clean and without significant wear.
Overall, this piece displays an outstanding condition for a silver special edition, preserving its collectible appeal and writing functionality.
It will be sent in a courtesy box for proper preservation.
