Antique apothecary weight set in a wooden box – gram weights – incomplete – circa early 20th century
Historical apothecary weight set for the precise dosing of substances, as used in pharmacies and pharmaceutical laboratories. Such weight sets were essential for the accurate weighing of medicines, powders, and active ingredients.
The set is housed in an original, solidly crafted wooden box with a hinged lid, precisely milled compartments, and a functioning metal clasp. The arrangement of the recesses is typical for pharmacy weights of this period.
Included weights (visible):
• 1 × 500 g
• 1 × 200 g
• 2 × 100 g
• several smaller disc weights in the gram range
The weight set is not complete – some weights are missing. The current state is clearly visible in the photos.
