Neo-Gothic altar cross - 46 cm - Spelter - 1930-1940

This is a richly decorated antique neo-Gothic altar crucifix (likely from the early 20th century), made from a cast metal alloy (such as zinc or zamak) with a bronze-colored finish.
Iconography: The cross centrally features the crucified Christ, flanked by the figures of Mary and the Apostle John on the side arms, and at the ends the symbols of the four Evangelists (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John).
Material and style: The object combines a English/French neo-Gothic style set on a graceful open foot/base.
The side figures are detachable.
