Up for auction is a nice antique 4/4 violin for professional musician or collector. The label says: Carlo Ferdinando Landolfi, nella Contrada di Santa Margarita, al Segno della Sirena, Milano 1753. The instrument remains in good condition with some old repaired cracks on the top. New bridge and old pirastro strings. Boxwood set up. The original varnish of brown color over lighter ground remains in good condition with some tears and wears. The softly flamed one piece maple back measures 360 mm. The total length of the violin is 590 mm. The width of the upper bouts: 161 mm; middle bouts: 111 mm; lower bouts: 201 mm. Beautiful model with a very elegant natural amber patina, very high quality of woods, perfect details all over. Shipping worldwide insured!
