Description from the seller
Ducati 916 Biposto from 1995 with 46,337 km.
A true classic, with performance and styling that continue to impress to this day. Both cosmetically and mechanically this Ducati 916 is in good condition. It is finished in what many consider the most desirable colour combination: full red bodywork with gold wheels and a gold frame, complemented by the perfect exhaust system for a Ducati.
In 2004 this motorcycle was imported into the Netherlands from Germany. The maintenance history is documented both before and after the import.
Equipped with:
- Carbon Termignoni exhausts
- Carbon rear hugger / chain guard
- Colour-matched mirrors
At 46,337 km the motorcycle received a major service. After this the bike has been stored inside on battery charger, started regularly and a short rides up and down the road to keep fuel flowing every now en then, it has ridden 1km since service.
Service included, among other things:
- Timing belts replaced
- Engine oil and filter replaced
- Brake and clutch fluid replaced
- Rear brake pads replaced
- Some o-rings from fueltank replaced
(Tyres have good tread but are older, a new front tyre is included and can be fitted upon request)
The motorcycle was not polished or detailed for the photos and is shown exactly as it arrived, which reflects how well it has been looked after. Its good condition, documented maintenance history and the desirable exhaust system make this iconic Ducati a great opportunity for enthusiasts and collectors.
Shipping is possible and picking up in Netherlands as well. Not included in the price. Price variates per country. Netherlands registration papers are coming with the bike, i will help when export papers are needed.

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
