Description from the seller
These elegant, refined, and sophisticated
Italian Ancap vases, made of pure white porcelain with blue flowers, will embellish any interior. They were produced in Italy in the 1960s.
Height with lid: 37.5 cm;
without lid: 28 cm.
Maximum width 19 cm.
One glass weighs 1.7 kg, the other 1.9 kg.
The Italian ANCAP kiln is unmatched in finish and in the quality of its porcelain. Made exclusively with high-quality ingredients and fired at temperatures far above standard industrial norms, the result is a dense white porcelain that stands out for its elegance and durability.
The mark on the base of the vase is a hand-painted signature in cobalt blue, which reads "Ancap for Italy" with a stylized "L" or perhaps a "U") and a number "4" or "f". The signature might be accompanied by a number or a stylized symbol, such as an arrow.
Brand identification:
Company: Unlike stamped factory trademarks, this is the signature of an artist or a decorator; in this case the signature is found on a porcelain object with a classic blue-and-white floral motif. The ANCAP company was founded in 1964 in Sommacampagna (Verona) from the brilliant idea of Giuseppe Boschini, a keen connoisseur of the porcelain and decoration market. The love for the quality typical of Italy and the passion have guided him together with the family until reaching qualitative excellence in the sector. An excellence that is expressed in lively, original objects, meticulously crafted down to the last detail, designed for professionals who seek impeccable tools, from every point of view.
Style: The vase pattern is a classic 'blue flower' that closely recalls Bavarian style (e.g., Schumann Bavaria, Hertel Jacob) or Royal Copenhagen, but the signature is personalized.
The items are in excellent condition, like new. The vases will be carefully packed, insured, and shipped with a tracking number.
