2 Chinese stoneware conical tea bowls –China
On offer are 2 Chinese stone-ware tea bowls of conical shape both covered with a rich pale blue glaze, and with several splashes of purple-red to oxblood-glaze. They are modelled after Song dynasty examples. Well potted, on a neatly cut splayed foot, the bowls are applied with rich pale blue glaze, splashed with some patches of purple-red and transmuting to a mushroom tone at the rim. The glaze stopping short above the foot, revealing an orange-brown burnt stoneware. Excellent for tea drinking.
Date: Late 20th Century till early 21st century
Size: They both measure between 9,5-9,8 cm across and about 4,5 cm in height.
Condition: Very good; 1 has a minor chip or bruise in the glaze at the rim. Some wear. Age relating crazing to glaze. Otherwise in good condition, both no cracks.
Will be packed very well and shipped with registered track/trace with insurance. Combined shipping possible, we return postage costs.
