Description from the seller

Champagne ice bucket in stainless steel signed Guy Degrenne, French production from the second half of the 20th century, representative of the elegant utilitarian design that made the house renowned. Designed for a refined table setting as well as for serving, this model combines a restrained silhouette with high-quality craftsmanship, faithful to the functional and refined aesthetic developed by Guy Degrenne during this period.

The bucket adopts a regular truncated-cone shape, flaring slightly toward the neck to facilitate grip and serving. The upper rim, rolled and softened, frames a perfectly smooth and polished interior designed to hold the bottle and ice. On either side, two flat and slender handles are discreetly attached; their sober, slightly curved design integrates harmoniously with the overall silhouette. The whole is made of stainless steel, with a satin finish punctuated by areas that are shinier due to use, offering subtle plays of light. The bottom bears the stamped mark “GUY DEGRENNE – INOX – FRANCE,” clear and legible, attesting to the origin and quality of manufacture.

The condition is very good. There is an even patina of use, with slight superficial marks and surface nuances, normal for a stainless steel object that has been used. No deformation, no structural damage, nor alteration of the handles to report. The whole remains perfectly functional and presents very well, both in terms of use and decorative display.

Founded in 1948, the Guy Degrenne house quickly established itself as a major player in the revival of tableware arts in France. By betting on stainless steel, a material then innovative in the domestic sphere, the manufacturer develops pieces that combine durability, modernity and elegance. This champagne bucket fully embodies this trajectory: an object designed for everyday use as well as for exceptional moments, embodying the spirit of a rational, controlled and timeless French design.

The dimensions are:
- Height: 21 centimeters,
- Upper diameter: 21 centimeters,
- Base diameter: 13.5 centimeters.
- Weight: 550 grams.

The Champagne bucket will be carefully packed and shipped quickly and securely. In-store pickup and bulk delivery are available. Photos are part of the description.
