Exquisite Chinese celadon nephrite jade sculpture 2 Pixiu – China – 20th Century
On offer is a large exquisite celadon nephrite jade sculpture of an older and young Pixiu. Good quality celadon nephrite jade group, with nice details, such as the teeth and hair and the sculptured back of the mother pixiu. This sculpture has a glossy greasy appearance! The main color is natural homogeneous green-grey.
Has been identified as nephrite jade by measuring thermal conductivity and hardness and translucency. Also checked with UV light; which indicates a natural color. Provenance: This large jade group comes from inland China. a Valuable and rare jade, very suitable as an addition to your high-end collection or to present as a gift!
