AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Large globe from the 1920s from the Girard Barrere and Thomas establishments in Paris. Model made of molded cardboard, rotating on a metal axle. The base is wood. As you can see, a dent of a few millimeters is present on the top of the globe around the axis. Nevertheless, no fragility: no element moves or is at risk of coming loose. Another crack on the top with traces of old restoration. There too, localized damage on a small area and no fragility. It remains a very beautiful object, difficult to find in this size.
