Large pale celadon nephrite jade brush washer with chilong, top! -China- 20th Century
On offer is a Chinese good quality large pale celadon light-green nephrite jade brush washer with very nice details. This large nephrite jade brush washer is shaped as a pumpkin. It has 2 high-relief carved chilongs (son of the dragon or mountain demon) on the outside. A high quality homogeneous large nephrite jade brush washer with almost no impurities in the jade.
Has been identified as nephrite jade by measuring thermal conductivity and hardness and translucency. All our jade is obtained in China. An excellent and rare piece, very suitable as an addition to your collection or to present as a gift. Please see test results and pictures.
