White nephrite jade Archaic pendant –China- 20th Century
On offer is an interesting local-made jade pendant. This pendant has a simple shape with only an engraving in Archaic style on the top side. The larger surface of the pendant is not engraved. A simple but charming example, made in Chinese taste!
Has been identified as nephrite jade by measuring thermal conductivity and hardness and translucency. Also checked with UV light; which indicates a natural color. Provenance: This pendant is obtained from inland China. An interesting simple executed jade, suitable as an addition to your high-end collection or to present as a gift! Please see test results and pictures.

*Origin/provenance: China, inland.
*Weight: 26,4 gram or 132 Carat.
*Hardness: No scratching possible, with hardened steel scratch pen.
*UV/ bright light check: No indication of treatment.
*Dating: 20th Century.
*Size (approx.): 60,15 mm (length) * 35,0 mm (width) * 5,9 mm (thick).
*Condition: Good condition, a spot of imperfection in the making, on the top.
