Set of three vintage Ben Hogan wooden driver golf clubs from 1965, original and in very good condition.
Description from the seller
Three wooden driver golf clubs by Ben Hogan, 1960s–1970s.
Set of 3 beautiful-looking, steel-shafted wooden golf drivers with very decorative red faces.
A large brass sole plate underneath nicely shaped to fit the wood. The brass sole plate is marked BH and Hogan.
An extra feature of these clubs is the 'Speed Slot' in the toe of the clubhead.
They have stepped steel (chromed) shafts made by Vector (True Temper brand). Vector is a lightweight steel shaft line that alters handle stiffness, geometry, and weight.
Good rubber grips.
They are around 133 cm long.
It's a very nice decorative golf club set of drivers in very good condition. (looks almost unplayed)
Great decorative item.
William Ben Hogan (August 13, 1912 – July 25, 1997) was an American professional golfer who is considered to be one of the greatest players in the history of the game. He profoundly influenced golf swing theory, and was noted for his ballstriking skill and assiduous practice. Hogan won nine major championships and is one of six men to complete the modern career grand slam.
