Description from the seller
[COLLECTION] Macintosh Classic Complete in Box – Matching Numbers – 1991
A rare find for Apple collectors: a Macintosh Classic (M1420) assembled in Ireland in July 1991, kept in its original box.
The strengths of this copy:
• Matching Numbers: The computer's serial number (CK12679N004) is identical to the one on the carton label.
• Original complete configuration: Equipped with 2 MB of RAM, a 40 MB internal hard drive (HD 40SC), and a 1.44 MB SuperDrive floppy drive.
• Exceptional cosmetic condition: Plastics are very clean.
• Complete packaging: Includes the original box, the polystyrene spacers, the "Open First" documentation kit, the Apple Keyboard II, the ADB mouse, and the cables (not shown in the photos but in good condition).
Technical status (Total transparency):
• Motherboard: Inspected, 'like new' condition, no battery leakage or acid leakage. (The battery has been removed) (See photo)
• Power supply board: There is a slight electrolyte seepage on a capacitor (electrolytic leakage typical for its age), see photos.
• US model (110V).
Important note: To preserve the integrity of the components, the machine has not been powered on.
Replacing the capacitors (recapping) is recommended to achieve a durable return to operation.
Shipped in a double-walled reinforced carton.
