Mid-Century Modern Extendable Dining Table, circa 1960–1970
Elegant oval extendable dining table in classic Mid-Century Modern style, dating from approximately the 1960s–1970s. The table features a warm walnut-toned veneer top with a refined wood grain and slender, tapered solid wood legs, typical of Scandinavian and Central European design of the period.
The table includes two integrated extension leaves, allowing it to be transformed from a compact oval dining table into a larger surface suitable for family gatherings or entertaining. The extension mechanism is original and functional.
Condition:
Good vintage condition, structurally solid and stable. Visible signs of use consistent with age, including surface scratches and a small veneer chip on the edge (clearly visible in photos). No structural damage. Extensions align correctly when opened.
Material:
Wood veneer top, solid wood legs and frame.
Dimensions (approximate):
– Closed: approx. 120–130 cm length
– Fully extended: approx. 170–180 cm length
– Width: approx. 90 cm
