Paysage en vibration de couleurs, an original oil painting from 1960–1970 by a post-impressionist school, Origin: Spain, sold with frame, signed, in good condition.
Description from the seller
An interesting landscape painting rendered in a distinctly Post-Impressionist style inspired by Pointillism/Neo-Impressionism, in which the artist builds the image through a vibrant succession of small, fragmented brushstrokes that create an intense sense of light and movement.
The composition presents an open natural landscape with stylized pines and a view toward the maritime horizon, captured with great atmospheric sensitivity. The divisionist technique applied—based on the juxtaposition of pure colors—allows the painted surface to vibrate optically, creating a dynamic luminosity that recalls the post-impressionist tradition inherited from European Neo-Impressionism.
It especially highlights the quality of execution, visible in the rhythmic precision of the brushstroke, the chromatic richness, and the balance between compositional structure and gestural spontaneity. The treatment of color and formal synthesis reveal a solid understanding of the pictorial resources associated with Pointillism, reinterpreted from a modern sensibility typical of the 20th century.
It is a work with a strong visual presence and great artistic appeal, capable of combining aesthetic interest, decorative value, and a clear stylistic affiliation within post-Impressionist painting.
It is presented framed, ready for display.
