Sculpture, Paard - 14 cm - Cast brass

Very fine horse in cast brass. The beautiful sculpture probably dates from the 1970s or 1980s of the last century. From the withers downward, the height of the sculpture is 14 cm; the width from head to tail is 25 cm, and the depth is a little over 5 cm. The sculpture depicts a grazing horse, with its head directed toward the ground.

What is especially striking about this image is that it looks very realistic, yet it has abstract qualities. The tail is very smooth, as is the body, and the head and mane also have abstract features—very beautiful!

The sculpture is unsigned. At the bottom you can clearly see how the cast horse on the pedestal was forged.

The horse is an extremely beautiful decorative item for a display cabinet, but also nice to place, for example, on a desk!
