Blue cobalt crystal vase by Val Saint Lambert, from 1950–1960, 16.5 cm high with a 12.5 cm collar diameter and 7 cm foot diameter, weight 1,450 g, featuring a geometric faceted motif and signed under the base with the original label, in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
Cobalt blue intense-tinted cut crystal vase, signed Val Saint Lambert (original label under the foot + signature engraved or acid-etched on the base, authentic mark of the Belgian crystal glassworks).
Elegant and stout, flared shape with an octagonal or polygonal upper rim, slightly notched. The body is entirely adorned with a pronounced geometric pattern: horizontal bands laid over in a zigzag or twisted spiral, with deep diagonal facets that create a twisting effect and prismatic depth. The waist is very clean and regular, typical of the high craftsmanship of Val Saint Lambert in the 1950s–1970s, endowing the vase with exceptional brilliance and a captivating play of light on the saturated cobalt blue.
Precise dimensions
- Total height: 16.5 cm
- Diameter at the neck (top edge): 12.5 cm

The label and signature under the base are well-present and legible (see detailed photos). No signs of significant wear, presentation like new despite its age.
A distinctive piece of mid-century Belgian crystal, sturdy, bright, and collectible, ideal for a shelf, a display cabinet, or minimalist display.
Secure and fully insured shipment via Bpost. Reinforced and meticulous packaging (double box, individually tailored padding in foam or thick bubble wrap, complete protection of the facets and edges to prevent any contact).
