Val Saint Lambert lead crystal centerpiece in deep emerald green, round flat form on a clear stand, signed with an engraved base signature, measuring 6 cm high, 17 cm in diameter and weighing 900 g, in excellent condition and dating from the 1960s–1980s.
Description from the seller
Centerpiece bowl/plate (cut bowl or decorative catchall) in deep emerald green cut crystal, signed Val Saint Lambert (signature engraved or acid-etched under the base, authentic mark of the Belgian crystal maker).
Flattened, slanted round shape on a small transparent pedestal for an elegant presentation. The main motif is a central circular floral, stylized and composed of rounded petals or lobes in relief, deeply cut into the body of the green glass to create a prismatic effect with crystalline white areas contrasting against the saturated green background. The outer edge is polished and curved, the inner surface smooth and domed to reflect light in a captivating way, giving a dome-like appearance or a glowing green lens.
Precise dimensions
- Total height (in inclined position): 6 cm
- Diameter: 17 cm
- Weight: 900 g
Condition: Excellent. The crystal is of remarkable clarity and brilliance, with no cracks, chips, scratches, or visible dulling. Signature well-presented and legible (see detailed photos). No signs of significant wear; presented as like-new.
Rare decorative sculptural piece from Val Saint Lambert, probably dating from the 1960s–1980s, combining the substantial weight of full lead crystal, deep-cut (deep-carved) design and a modern/abstract style (petaloid floral motif). Ideal as a centerpiece, a catch-all tray, or a mid-century collectible.
Secure and fully insured shipment via Bpost. Reinforced and very careful packaging (double box, individually tailored padding in dense foam or thick bubble wrap, complete protection of the edges and the motif to prevent any impact).
