Preciosa lámpara colgante de un águila de bronce hecha a principios del S. XX en Francia.

Esta figura ornamental representa un águila en vuelo con una envergadura de 39cm! La pieza está fundida en bronce macizo con una pátina verde oliva que resalta el plumaje cincelado. La escultura representa a una rapaz con las alas extendidas, capturando un gran nivel de detalle en el plumaje y las garras que aprisionan una esfera central, en postura dinámica y expansiva, como alegoría de poder y autoridad sobre el orbe o mundo. El ave presenta un pico abierto en actitud de reclamo y ojos definidos.

Por su técnica de fabricación y estilo decorativo, se sitúa en la primera mitad del siglo XX, dentro del periodo neoclásico. Su estructura presenta un gancho superior para ser colgada. Originalmente integrada en un conjunto de iluminación, esta pieza permite la reinstalación de un casquillo y cableado por parte del coleccionista para su reconversión en objeto funcional. En una foto aparece una referencia visual del conjunto para apreciar su función, no obstante, el lote comprende únicamente la escultura de bronce.
