Old Napoleon III-era mantel clock (circa 1860–1870), known as a drum-dial pedestal clock.

Black marble case (Belgian marble type) with frames in rose griotte marble, richly gilt bronze fittings finely chiseled: side claw handles and a decorative neo-Gothic crown.
