Description from the seller

Rare and elegant 4-piece coffee and tea service, French Art Deco style, made of silver-plated metal (white metal), dating from the period 1925–1930.

The service showcases a design that is highly characteristic of Art Deco, built around angular, faceted volumes, giving the whole a sculptural and modern presence.

Four-piece tea/coffee service, made of white metal with handles and lid knobs in exotic wood.

Maker's mark in a shield adorned with a reclining lion, bearing the letters “EY” the inscription “ARGENTAL” and “WHITE METAL”

Handles and knobs in dark exotic wood, probably rosewood or ebony, a dense and insulating wood, typical of the Art Deco period.

Numbers and workshop stamps visible on all pieces.

Style: Art Deco

Dimensions
Coffee maker: 27 cm

Teapot : 25 cm

Sugar bowl: 19 cm

Milk pot: 13 cm

Good overall condition, with signs of wear consistent with its age.

Small visible impacts:

On the milk pot

On the coffee maker
(clearly visible in the photographs, without structural deformation)

Notes*
The items in photo 1 are not included in the sale. It is only the 4-piece set.
