From the Full Moon series, a dreamy and painterly image created in 2010 from several long exposure photographs covering a time passage of nearly two hours. The image observe the tidal movement of the ocean reflecting and the poetic relationship between the moon, the sun and planet Earth.
Print number 1 from a small edition of 15. Museum quality C-print on Fuji Crystal archival paper. Provenance from the artist studio. The artwork is signed, dated and numbered (archival label on verso). Includes a signed & numbered Certificate of Authenticity. The print will be shipped flat, protected in acid free materials in a rigid packaging.
Lichtenberg's moonlight images have been exhibited widely, selected for many international awards including: The Renaissance Photography Prize, Aesthetica Art Prize, Life Framer, as well as displayed outside the IRCAM / Centre Pompidou in Paris in 2015/16 and endorsed by Marion Tande of MoMA NY.
André Lichtenberg work has been exhibited in museums and private galleries worldwide, including the Barbican Centre London, Arles Festival and Fabrica, Brighton. His artworks are represented in numerous international art collections including the prestigious Joseph Cohen Family Collection in NY and the NHS Trust in UK.
