Lot of 7 Vintage and Antiquarian Pocket Watches - Longines, Zenith, Waltham and Others. collection consisting of 7 pocket watches tracing the history of watchmaking from the late 19th century to the early 20th. The lot offers a remarkable variety of complications, precious materials and artistic decorations, including world-renowned brands and pieces of historical-railway interest.
Longines in Silver 0.900: A high-quality specimen with a solid silver case, hallmark 0.900. The inner cover bears the EFCo Longines stamp (Ernest Francillon & Co.) with the famous winged hourglass and serial number 4086208 (circa 1923-24). Enamel dial with Roman numerals and seconds subdial.
Zenith "Devlet Demir Yollari": Historic watch made for the Turkish State Railways. Features a white dial with black Arabic numerals and the issuer's official inscription.
Waltham (USA): Classic American watch with a clean dial and numerals
Watch with Locomotive (Ottoman Market): Case back engraved with a evocative steam locomotive and the crescent moon and star symbols.
Watch "Key-Wind" (19th Century): Antique model with smooth case and hole for winding and regulation via key (key not present).
