Gas operation (according to the previous owner)

approximately 50 cm high, 30 cm wide, 24 cm deep and 5.30 kg heavy

These old lamps were mounted on the outside and higher up on ships, one green for the left (and one red for the right).

The lamp was exposed to wind and weather for decades and repainted several times. That was common back then.

So that, especially in the dark, one could recognize which direction a ship is heading.

Back then there were no technical aids.

These authentic, unadulterated and originally maritime pieces are rare and highly coveted.

Each object tells a story. Many of these lamps lie on the sea floor all over the world, having sunk with their ships.
