Description from the seller
Franco Verroca (Macerata, 1927 - Rome, 1999), Crono, bronze sculpture with wooden base, 11 x 4 cm, height 19 cm, dimensions including the base 10 x 8 cm, height 27.5 cm approximately, signed.
Verroca was a draftsman, engraver and above all a respected sculptor. In sculpture he mainly devoted himself to the human figure, working with marble as well as bronze and other metals. A pupil at Brera in Milan and then active in the Roman artistic school of the 1960s, he combines solid technical competence of academic origin with a keen attention to the avant-garde of his time.
