Description from the seller
Beautiful Wedgwood Queen's Plain Dinnerware – 17-piece – Timeless Cream
For sale: a splendid, 17-piece dinnerware set from the iconic English brand Wedgwood, from the classic Queen's Plain line. This dinnerware, also known as "Queen's Ware", was originally designed in 1776 for Queen Charlotte and has since been a symbol of British refinement.
Composition & Dimensions:
This extensive set consists of the following items:
7 x Teacups: Ø 9.5 cm, height 7.5 cm.
8 x Plates: Ø 14 cm, with the characteristic incurved edge. Note that there are 2 plates where a piece is missing (see Photos)
1x Milk Jug: Height approx. 10 cm, capacity 0.15 liter.
1x Large Square Serving Dish: 24 x 26 cm,
ideal for desserts or snacks.
Production year & History:
Although the design is centuries old, this specific line went out of production in 2015, making it a cherished collectible. By the stamp on the underside (a round mark indicates production before 1995, a horizontal mark production after) you can determine the exact age. This set is estimated to have been produced between 2000 and 2010.
Condition of the dinnerware:
2 plates have a piece missing
The dinnerware is otherwise in excellent vintage condition. The high-quality earthenware features a glossy white lead glaze and shows no chips or cracks. The dinnerware is also dishwasher- and microwave-safe.
Delivery:
Given the fragility, pickup is preferred. Shipping is possible, with the set being very carefully and breakage-free packed in plenty of bubble wrap.
A unique opportunity to acquire a complete 17-piece set of this prestigious English dinnerware!
