Description from the seller

This is an Art Deco mantel clock (also known as a pendule or table clock).

Features that reveal it:
• The geometric, symmetrical design with steps and fan shapes is typical of the Art Deco style (circa 1920–1940).
• The material appears to be marble or onyx stone combined with black natural stone, which was commonly used in French and Belgian clocks from that period.
