Holy water font - 20th century - 33 cm

Refined wall-mounted bronze holy-water font depicting the Crucified Christ with the inscription “INRI”, flanked by two adorant angels kneeling at the foot of the Cross.

The composition is balanced and harmonious, of clear Neoclassical inspiration, with idealized figures and well-defined plastic modeling. The details of the angels' wings and the anatomy of Christ are particularly refined, rendered with sobriety and composure.

The lower basin, integrated into the structure, shows natural patina and light oxidations coherent with its age, which confer charm and authenticity to the whole.
