Old coins necklaces, worn by the Karen people, one of the tribes living on the hills in the border between Myanmar, Laos and Thailand. The coins are Thai, from the 50's onwards. They are all tied together with colorful wool string.

The first one is 130 cm long, and the coins have a diameter of 18 mm the smaller. It weights 221 gr. (SEA179)

The second one has also Thai coins 50's, but some are older bronze coins from the British colonial time. They are all attached one by one to a cotton cord.

The necklace is 76 cm long , and the coins have a diameter of 2 cm the smaller (0,78 in) to 3 cm (1,18 in) the bigger one. It weights 145 gr.
