Very beautiful horse in cast brass. The lovely statue probably dates from the 1970s or 1980s of the last century. The statue is 17 cm tall, the width from head to tail is 21 cm and the depth is about 6 cm. The sculpture depicts a horse in gallop.
Very special about this statue is the fact that it seems to have been made very realistically, yet it has abstract qualities. It has, therefore, a typical Art Deco appearance. The tail is very smooth, as is the body, and also the head and mane have abstract features; very beautiful!
You can polish this horse until the brass shines like gold, but in doing so you lose the beautiful patina of old brass that the piece now has.
The statue is not signed. The horse is an enormously beautiful decorative item in a display cabinet, but also nice to place, for example, on a desk!
