Sèvres porcelain plate from Paris dating to 1850–1900, with a central floral bouquet, a border of small floral arrangements with gilded branches, and a fine gilt rim showing a flaw, backmarks from the late 19th century; 24 cm diameter, 2.5 cm high, 375 g, in good used condition with minor aging signs.
Description from the seller
A plate from the renowned porcelain manufactory Sèvres near Paris: in the center a lush floral arrangement; along the edge smaller floral arrangements alternate with gilded twigs; a narrow gold rim surrounds the plate. Unfortunately the gilding at the edge has a defect.
The marks on the back date from the second half of the 19th century.
The floral decoration was painted outside the Sèvres manufactory.
