Beautiful bronze lamp "Metamorphosis" of neoclassical style, from Europe, and made in the mid-20th century. (Circa 1940 - 1960).

This exquisite lamp of naturalist symbolism, starts from a bronze base with an ornamental tripod with scrolls and acanthus leaves, with the form of a snail perched on it.

The central shaft, also in bronze, rises like a winding branch or a growing botanical form, upon which rests a bronze butterfly with its wings spread, executed with astonishing technical precision in the chiseling of the wings.

The lampshade is cream-toned with a golden trim, designed to filter the light warmly, highlighting the reliefs of the bronze when lit.

In excellent condition, with authentic patina.
