Vintage table-top retractable cigarette holder, made of brass with decorative faux-leather coverings. By lifting the upper lid, the internal mechanism opens in a fan-like spread, revealing the cigarettes placed in the various compartments. It is a typical collectible item from the 1950s or 1960s, used as a decorative smoking accessory. It was used to hold and serve cigarettes in an elegant way on coffee tables in the living room or on desks.
