Pair of antique Persian lacquered wooden boxes, richly decorated with traditional Persian geometric and floral motifs.
The polychrome decoration, done by hand, shows meticulous workmanship typical of Persian craftsmanship, with a harmonious repetition of motifs and a beautiful depth of color.
The boxes rest on small carved feet.
One has a flat lid, the other a domed lid, the latter equipped with an original decorative metal clasp.
These boxes were traditionally used as jewelry boxes, containers for precious objects, or domestic storage boxes.

Condition:
Good antique condition. consistent with age and use, with no major apparent restorations.
