Set of Biblical tabernacle objects – Ark of the Covenant, Altar and Table of the Showbread – Brass/Bronze miniatures – about 1975 – Israel
Special and decorative set of Biblical tabernacle objects, consisting of:
- Ark of the Covenant with cherubim on the cover
- Burnt offering altar
- Incense altar
- Table of the Showbread with miniature jugs, cups and showbread
The set comprises refined miniatures executed in brass/bronze, presumably originating from Israel and most likely purchased around 1975. Such sets were often produced as religious art objects or educational replicas of the tabernacle objects as described in the Old Testament (Exodus 25–30).
The Ark is richly detailed with two cherubim placed opposite each other on the atonement cover. The objects are equipped with carrying bars, in accordance with the Biblical description. The table contains small liturgical attributes (cruets, cups and stacked showbread).
The Table is missing one leg, Some carrying bars are missing, Small damages in line with age
The set is sold in its current state as shown in the photos.
