The Montblanc Meisterstück LeGrand 166 is presented in very good overall condition, showing a remarkable level of preservation for a writing instrument of its era.

The precious burgundy resin retains a deep, uniform shine, with no cracks, breaks or repairs. Only micro signs of use are visible, visible only under close inspection and consistent with careful use, which do not affect at all the aesthetics or the function.

The gold-plated metal elements — clip and rings — are in very good condition, with original shine and no loss of plating, showing only light handling marks normal for a vintage item.

The Montblanc emblem at the top of the cap is complete, well centered and without missing parts. The engraving on the central band “Montblanc – Meisterstück” remains crisp and fully legible.

The rollerball system works correctly, with the cap closing securely and smooth writing (refill included depending on availability).

Overall, this is a very well-preserved piece, ideal for everyday use as well as for a collection.
