Clock Louis XV Bronze - 1850-1900

Beautiful bronze Louis XV pendulum clock; a very detailed clock with asymmetric decoration; characteristic of the Louis Quinze period. Time is indicated by openwork hands and Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the minutes. The dial is protected at the front by a glass pane set in a bronze bezel. The whole rests on a finely worked base and is crowned by a bronze ornament. Runs well and with a nice strike on the full and half hour on the bell. Some fine tuning may be required after transport.
