The Dalmore King Alexander III is unique in the world of whisky as it is matured in six different types of casks, carefully selected to create exceptional depth and balance. The whisky is presented in the brand’s signature bottle featuring the silver stag emblem and comes with its original luxury presentation box.
The six cask types typically include ex-bourbon barrels, Matusalem Oloroso sherry casks, Madeira casks, Marsala casks, Port pipes, and Cabernet Sauvignon wine barriques, resulting in a beautifully layered and harmonious profile.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Red berries, orange zest, toffee, vanilla, and delicate spice.
Palate: Rich and full-bodied with notes of dark chocolate, dried fruits, caramel, roasted nuts, and soft oak.
