LAURIN MARK
The "Laurin" mark was a pre-war experimental special collaboration of the best jewelers from Germany and was stamped only on their highest quality items.
The "Laurin" project began in 1934 and ended in 1938.
The names Doublé, in English "rolled gold" in Dutch "gewalst goud" and in French "laminé", were legally protected by the Reichsgericht decision of 21.12.1923, and may not be used for goods whose gold plating has been produced by a different process, for example galvanic gold plating.
In 1900, double gold was reintroduced using a new procedure: first two Tombak metal plates were pressed together, followed by a silver layer, after which two more thin gold layers were pressed or rolled on.
The pressed plates were then sent to the ateliers to be used for jewelry fabrication.
The jewelry was then beautifully polished with the guarantee that they would retain a lifelong golden luster, as evidenced by these earrings!
Jewelry of this quality is still rarely found today!
Photos are enlarged; check the specifications for dimensions!
The earrings will be lightly cleaned before shipping and sent by registered and insured mail in a gift box with Track and Trace.
Customs duties are for the recipient’s cost.
