AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

I am selling this UNIQUE clock from my private collection. I think it is unique because it was probably the only one made to order for an Amsterdam townhouse to fit into the fully interior designed by the Amsterdam interior architect Napoleon Les Grande. His work was highly valued by the Amsterdam elite in the early 1900s. Shortly before the Second World War, the Jewish family moved to Switzerland and managed to escape the concentration camps along with the whole family. This heavy, splendid clock (pendulum) is carved from a single piece of hardwood, and the original movement was recently fully inspected and revised. The clock works perfectly. Preferably pick up if possible in Roosendaal (Netherlands) or Turnhout (Belgium).
