Friese staartklok from circa 1960–1970, made of wood with a mahogany-like finish, mechanical clock with a multi‑day power reserve, 90 cm high, 24 cm wide, 15 cm deep, weighing 10 kg, Dutch origin, in good used condition, featuring a moon phase, two angels and Atlas on top, and weights needing winding every two weeks.
Description from the seller
Very beautiful and pristine Frisian tail clock with moon phase. On top of the clock there are two angels (complete) and an atlas in the center. The pendulum is located inside the cabinet. One pin to lock the lower cabinet. The cabinet is in good condition and has a beautiful mahogany-like color. On the side of the cabinet there are nice panes to view the movement. The clock still looks very handsome and runs and strikes as it should. Weights should be raised once every two weeks. Height 90 cm. Width 24 cm. Depth 15 cm. Photos are part of the description. The clock I am offering here is thoroughly tested and taken from the wall while ticking. Unfortunately, during transport (rough handling of the box, or the carrier throwing it) an irregularity may occur. Clockworks are delicate (e.g., anchor escapement and pendulum suspension). So there is a chance it may need to be recalibrated. Well packaged for shipping, but can also be picked up in Zoetermeer.
