Classically inspired bust representing the god Apollo, based on the famous Belvedere Apollo typology. From the first third of the 20th century.

The head is finely carved in white marble with a fine grain (Carrara style), showing a polished surface and detailed execution in the hair. The torso and clothing are made of translucent onyx (or calcitic alabaster), with rich natural veining in honey, ochre and orange tones that create an organic contrast. It rests on an elegant circular black veined marble plinth (Portoro type), which elevates the piece and completes the triad of colors.
