Large hand-painted calabash bottle in miniature style from the Middle East, Asia, dated to 1960–1970, about 45 cm high, 22 cm wide and 20 cm deep, with an original stopper and leather fringe, in reasonable used condition with wear and possible missing small parts.

Large hand-painted gourd bottle in miniature style. From the Middle East, second half of the 20th century.
The surface is finely painted all around with multiple figurative and narrative scenes in the tradition of classical miniature painting.
Representations include figures in traditional clothing, animals and stylized landscape elements.
Original stopper with leather tassels present.
In good overall condition, wear commensurate with age and the fragile organic material.
It has some small wear spots and paint losses (see photos). No visible structural cracks.
