Kirk Douglas, an actor and film producer, was a jury member for the first time in 1970, where he also met his wife, Anne, who had worked for him. Charles Aznavour, a singer-songwriter and actor, was also present at the festival, presenting his film "Apotheosis" with his own directors. The festival was a moment of celebration of cinema and music, with film screenings and musical performances.
