Dave Cutler - Marathon New York 1994

Dave Cutler, award-winning illustrator and member of the Society of Illustrators, is tasked with designing the New York Marathon poster for the year 1994. Highly sought after by collectors, the illustration features runners climbing up and down the twin towers of the World Trade Center. His creations are based on simple, elegant, and often whimsical visual metaphors that aim to engage, provoke, and entertain.

Sponsored by Mercedes-Benz, the original poster was selected to become part of the permanent collection of the 9/11 Museum in New York.
