Duits Art Deco zilver overlay parfumflesje uit de jaren 20/30 v/d vorige eeuw.
Het parfumflesje is gemaakt van porselein, puur zilver en met een metalen dop.
Het zwarte flesje heeft een soort van fantasie design afbeelding met floraal decor.
De kleine draaibare dop van de fles heeft de vorm van een kroontje (Crowntop).
Het pure zilver (1000/1000) is middels een elektrolitisch proces aangebracht.
 
De parfumflesjes zijn nu een gewild verzamel item en worden steeds schaarser.
Dit exemplaar is in een goede staat en staat wellicht straks bij u te pronken!
Conditie: goed met normale leeftijd-gebruik-sporen.

Het flesje word vanzelfsprekend goed verpakt verzonden.

De Duitse uitvinder Friedrich Deusch patenteerde het zilverlay-
proces in 1895 en toonde zijn werk in 1907 op de tentoonstelling
in Bordeaux. Dankzij hem werd de stad Schwäbisch Gmünd 
het centrum van de Duitse productie van zilvercoatings.

De eerste objecten die Friedrich Deusch ontwierp en 
produceerde zijn erg klassiek, gevolgd door een abstracte
fase van Art Déco in zijn puurste vorm.

Na Deusch and Company werden andere bedrijven opgericht die zich
specialiseerden in deze techniek, zoals dat van Friedrich Wilhelm Spahr en
dat van Alfred en Manfred Veyhl. Parallel aan de ontwikkeling van de Duitse
productie werd er een soortgelijke gestart in de Verenigde Staten.
